“The opportunities to work with faculty on research projects
are endless. We can help them connect with a variety of community groups and/or involve them in project evaluations. We can also serve as a laboratory for students, providing them with practical experiences that help them better understand the needs of older adults and their families.”
Starting in October, Coming of Age will be presenting in over a dozen communities across the country its "Capturing the Energy and Expertise of People 50+" Learning Labs-- a three-day workshop series that helps nonprofits learn how to craft compelling opportunities for older adults.
