Community Treasures: Recognizing the Contributions of Older Refugees and Immigrants
As America grows older and more diverse, people age 50+ from all cultural backgrounds represent a vast resource for communities. This session will focus on understanding why and how older foreign born adults contribute to their families and communities and identify promising practices that support the engagement of these elders in meaningful roles.
